inspirational   person research

                       posterizing an image

On Photoshop I was was learning to Posterizesd an image, posterizing an image means to take an image but change the image diffrently. First I had to choose a famous or inspirational person for my image. I chose Amelia Earhart secondly I copied and pasted the photo in Photoshop,

then I changed the image to greyscale after that   I added layers next I used the selection tool on a layer to add colour. To change the colour I went on the colour tool the colours I used for this image is light blue, dark blue, and this is my final image to make the image more nicer, I added a frame to make the image look more 3D  and the colours I chose was a turquoise and this is my final posterized image.

on Monday I was learning about Potraits, Potraits is when you take a photograph and draw the figure to draw my Potrait I used a grid to help draw and help with the sizes and format of the person.

for my art using the grid as help I first sketched my drawing then I used a pencil to draw the eyes, ears mouth and noise and I also added some detail to make it look 3D then for each part of my art Potrait I used different art mediums for the eyes a used chalks and colour pencils then for the hair I also used chalk and some oil pastels and lastly for the face i used oil pastel and colour pencil and this is my final art of a Potrait using a grid
for my second task in Art i had to practice drawing a Potrait without using the grid for first I sketched the drawing then I used pencil to draw the eyes noise and mouth then I used the pencil again to add detail and that is my final artwork.

20/11/2024              potrait using collage

on Monday I was learning how to make collage using an inspirational person the inspirational person i chose was Cindy Sherman and she was a photographer and media artist.

To create my collage I first traced the photo on tracing paper, then I used collage to develop it. At the back of the paper I shaded all the outlines and this can help me draw when I use the main paper, then after to create my collage I chose the main paper for my art and drew the person. After that  I used a scalpel to cut the outline of my drawing. To create a collage I used different colour paper for the second layer which I chose the hair.

For the hair I  chose a Pink colour paper then traced the hair and after used the scalpel then After i added it to my collage picture. after that  I used a different colour Paper which is purple for the outfit  I  traced the outfit on a paper and after i added the outfit on my final collage art and finally i added the face on my collage and added detail and this was my final collage art.

this is a Artwork by picaso is a Portrait that has different shapes and colours like yellow, red, blue, green and purple I think this portrait is nice because it has different angles and style creating an 3D effect.

This is a Portrait and selfie of princess Diana how this picture is interesting is that it has photography elements like focus, zooming in and different light settings like light or dark and this is shown in the picture by the background and the shadow on the hair and this can help the image look clear and not blurry.

this is a Portrait selfie artwork by Frida Kahlo how this picture is interesting is that it has different elements like how she used flowers for the head and that she used a darker colour for the face and a brighter for the background which makes the art look 3D and nice.

this is a Portrait artwork by an artist called Liz in this art she used paints and i think it looks interesting because for each element. of the face the the artist used the same line art using paint.

                       Ormaechea task 20/11/24

Ormaechea  is when you create art using photograph media or collage to create an image that has an illusion its when you combine two image using collage to create an artwork.

This is an example of an Ormechea artwork, it is a picture of a lady reading but the artwork effect is that they used ormaechea as the sky background to make it the artwork have an fantasy effect.
while leaving the background as the original image to make the picture more nicer.

This is another example of Ormechea it has a street setting and the Ormechea is that they used the image of the person in the street and used collage to make the art more nice the Ormechea they used was a flower with a bee on it . and this is a nice artwork because they used collage and phography by using Ormechea to make an the artwork seem real and not real.

how these images relate to each other visually is that both artworks have similarities and both have somethings in common because they both use an street setting and that both images are used outside
another thing how these images relate to each other visually is that they both use Ormechea because both artworks have images to create an artwork of a portrait and they both have similarities because each image has a photo of nature for example the first image has a picture of a sky effect  while the second picture has a picture of flowers.

      Ormaechea task photoshop

constructivist task

this is art of constructivist for this project I used Photoshop first  copied and pasted the pictures I was going to use and for my art I did an constructivist art for a worker then I added my pictures on Photoshop after that I used the eraser tool to remove any backround from the pictures.

Then I used the shape tool to add some shapes on my poster then after I added some colour the colours I used was blue, green and purple after that  I used the text tool to change the style and writing. and this is how I created my contructivist project and i'm very happy about it because I used a range of different shapes and colours to make it look nice and by changing the style of the text it made the picture more 3D.

25/11/24 artwork inspired by Julian Opie

on Monday I was doing art inspired by Julian Opie, we had to create an artwork similar to Julian Opie work in his artwork he used art styles like pop art. Today for my art I had to create a portrait that has minimal detail and an artwork that is 2D and has an outline.

First to create my artwork I used a pencil to trace of the outline of the person on paper, then after that I added colour I used a beige, pink colour for the background. Then I used different colours for the hair face and outfit. The colours I used was beige, brown, and blue and Finally I added a black outline.

 my artwork

this is an example one of Julian Opie artworks, it was created in 2010. in his artwork he used media that is like pop art or collage and has minimal details.  then by finishing the artworks with a black outline,

I think this artwork is nice because the artist used different colours.  because the artwork is simple, I like how the art has a bit of 3D in the hair by adding two colours to give depth in the art.

this is another example of Julian Opie artworks it was created in 2013  I like this artwork because it looks a bit more 3D, it has some differences  from the first picture in this artwork the artist used a lighter colour for the background and it is nice because in the artwork there is a shadow which adds a bit detail in the art.  another thing which is nice about this art is that it has a different style from the first example and has a bit more detail to the eyes and noise

history of potraits in art 26/11/2024

Potraits in art is when you create Potraits of nature or a person it could also be a painting, sculpture
potraits its when you create art that shows a persons face but not always. In potraits they include shapes, colours and features like hair, eyes, face, clothes

the earliest examples of art was 45,500 years ago that went back to roman and eygiptian times where people used to paint potraits on rock or on paper.

potraits have been popular because it allows the individuals to showcase the personalties and emotions of the person and it has become popular because it allows to see the history of potraits art and another reason why it might be popular because it has changed overtime and artist might use diffrent methods to create potraits in art.

Renaissance period potrait

this is one lenardo da vinci potraits it was created in 1512 during the renaissance period the artist used chalk to create this potrait. i chose this picture of a potrait because it shows how potraits were created in the past and it shows how it shows how it was created using chalk and i like this picture because it has details and looks 3D which is nice because artist create potraits using 2D and 3D and this potrait is nice because it shows a 3D artwork and how potraits looked in the past and i like this potrait because it has diffrent colours like browm, and white to create an image of how art looked like in the past.

cubsim art example

this is an example of cubism art it is a portrait of a horse is 3D image and I like this picture because it has detail and many colours like blue, yellow, red, blue, pink and white this is image is cubism because in the portrait there are different shapes, quares and colours. and this portrait is nice because it shows that portraits doesn’t have to be portraits and can be anything like this portrait of a horse and I like how this is art shows cubism because it uses a dark background but the actual horse has bright colours to show the cubism effect.

examples of equipment used for selfies in the past and present  26/11/2024

this is an example of a equipment that was used in the past
people would use mirrors to take selfies. It was first used in 1913 when the Grand Duchess Anastasia used a mirror to take a selfie.  I think this method of selfie is interesting because it showed what it was like to take selfies in the past.

This is another equipment people use to take selfies it is a camera and this is a equipment people still use today and is popular in the camera there are different settings to make a picture look nice or to improve it the different settings are focus, zoom in, and filters and is still a way to take selfies in the present.

here is another example an equipment that people use for selfies it is called a selfie stick and is used in the 21st century it was first shown in 2005 and this is used by the selfie stick attached to a phone to take a selfie and is now  used of a way to take photos and is used in the present.

here is another example of an equipment used for a selfie it is similar to a selfie stick but is also different the difference is that it has a ring shape and this is used for light and this is a different method of selfies and it is interesting because it shows how selfie equipment's improved overtime.

This is the most resent way we use to take selfies
our phones have become a popular way to take selfies now to technology and it has been improved because we use the camera to take photos and pictures and selfies and in the camera there are different setting like zoom, and filters as well similar to a camera equipment and all these examples are interesting because it shows how camera equipment changed and improved over time.

This is one of Philippe Halsman photographs it was taken in 1906 it is a Potrait of Albert einstein

in the photgraph the camera style is black and white because in the 19th centreruy photographys used black and white in the photo the camera setting is zoom in and this is good because in photography it help capture the person personalty and detail like the eyes ears.

https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=41165fec71bc817d&q=Philippe+Halsman+photography&udm=2&fbs=AEQNm0Aa4sjWe7Rqy32pFwRj0UkWd8nbOJfsBGGB5IQQO6L3J03RPjGV0MznOJ6Likin94pT_oR1DTSof42bOBxoTNxG8rlVtlHpDT0XaodfzKKV1TwR_qbS-aakEhWquIefCsFKaHB0KYQCzwp_KpjBzgqcrYGhvsLLOtjbuCfHDayPjTnT3CUWZbtHp26Caw_fmPEPneFrC2G3lsNMTxsEciHW3aqFEA&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjw5ZiYuvyJAxX6QkEAHTDKLtoQtKgLegQIHRAB&biw=1920&bih=945&dpr=1&safe=active&ssui=on#vhid=TPQtyuM13r9dtM&vssid=mosaic

this is another Potrait by halsman it was taken of Audrey hepburn it is in a darker black and white setting and is taken in a outside setting, what is nice about this picture is that it shows the person fashion style and shows what photogarphy looked like in the past.

this is another photo  by halsman it is a Potrait that is taking at a different angle for example the person is sitting sideways  and in the photograp the person is holding an object and this makes the picture nice because it makes the picture more nice and because the photograph has a dark backround it shows that the person might feel calm or sad
this is another example of one of the photographs taken by Halsman it is a potriat of Marilyn Manroe She was a actress and the photography style is that  the person used was  zoom in and this makes the picture nice because it shows her personality showing that she is happy and is smiling in the picture.

early in his career he took photographs of people jumping and this is used in photography because it shows the persons personality .
this is a photography taken of a ballerina and you can see this by how the ballarina feels  and i think this picture is nice because it shows what ballet is like because in ballet there are jumps and leaps which shows how this  picture is taken of a ballerina and another thing which makes this picture is that there is a shadow in the backround and this is nice because it helps make the picture look 3d and adds depth.

Climate change is when the temperature in the Earth atmosphere changes and this is when the Earth temperature becomes more warmer one of the effects of climate change is bush fires this can effect the environment because

when things are burnt it releases smoke into the atmosphere and this is not good because when smoke goes into the atmosphere it releases carbon dioxide. Another effect of climate change is rising waters and this a main cause of climate change and this can also effects the environment because it can cause floods.

because of the climate change weather one of the effects is that it can cause the earth surface to be dry as you can see

by the example in the picture.

another reason why climate change can effect the environment is by deforestation deforestation is when trees are cut for resources like paper but this can also effect climate change because wildlife and animals might live in them. This can also effect the environment because trees store carbon dioxide and releases oxygen so when they are cut it releases carbon dioxide.

lastely the effect of climate change is that because of the warm weather it can effect the colder continets like antartica and the effect of climate change is that it melts all the ice and this is effect the animals that live there like polar bears and because the ice is melting it cause the sea levels to rise.

why do people campaign about it?

why organisations might campaign about the environment is by inspiring and to educate people

on how we can save the planet and what we can do to prevent climate change like by recycling throwing rubbish in bins and by saving light and water.

some organisations involved with climate change are greenpeace, environment protection, climate foundatiom and more

Andy Warhol inspired    4/12/2024/

On Monday I was learning about Andy Warhol and learning to create my own pop art inspired by Andy Warhol,  To create my artwork that is inspired by pop art I first chose an inspirational person, then using photoshop I

used the greyscale tool to change the colour of my picture. This is used in pop art to decide where the colours are going to be, then after I had my picture I used a different colour for the face and eyes. Because this is a Pop art inspired artwork, I used two different colours for the outfit and earning and finally I added highlights in the hair to make my artwork nicer.

after I finished my artwork I decided to create another pop art while experimenting with more colours and mediums to create my second artwork  used cryaons and oil pastels for the face first to create my artwork I decided to use a brighter colour for the face the colour I used was blue and this is nice becuase it made the artwork have a pop art effect then for the outfit I used watercolour then lastely i used a different colour for the hair and earrings and this is my final two popart artworks.

I prefer my first pop art artwork becuase it has more of a pop art effect because i used more brighter colours for the outfit and the hair. and i think i am happy with my final artwork becuase i like the colours used by not adding too much colour and by how the artwork lookes 3D.

 Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol was born on the 6th August 1928

he was a pop art artist Andy Warhol was most famous for his bright colourful paintings using paint and ink and art that used items like cans.

https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=3e4a05f9a46c92ca&q=andy+warhol+artworks&udm=2&fbs=AEQNm0Aa4sjWe7Rqy32pFwRj0UkWd8nbOJfsBGGB5IQQO6L3J03RPjGV0MznOJ6Likin94pT_oR1DTSof42bOBxoTNxG8rlVtlHpDT0XaodfzKKV1adOx4X8Ur3EJ9zv2jB-RMk6eU01Q5VGIJ2MzBu11P6NAyD5jFB5IAl2iW-AnKTvlqc-pU25ZEiIZXfu4ty7RwJXU8ZAaRRe9MuSDjTgiXwzEXHK9Q&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiql8vL742KAxX0UkEAHdryE8oQtKgLegQIDxAB&biw=1920&bih=945&dpr=1&safe=active&ssui=on

this is one of Andy Warhol artworks in his artworks he was most famous for his artworks that used can and this is an example of one of Andy Warhol artworks I picked this image because it is a very nice artwork that has a 2D and 3D effect in this artwork the artist used different colours like red, yellow, white and green and what is nice about this artwork is that for the lid of the can it has highlight and this is important in art because it can make the art look 3D.

This is another example of artwork that is pop art it is an image of mickey mouse I chose this artwork because it uses different shapes and this is important in pop art because to use different shapes it makes the artwork more interesting and 2D and I chose this artwork because it uses different bright colours like yellow, pink, blue and red.

This is last picture I chose of one of Andy Warhol pop art artwork it is an image taken of Marylin Manore and in this picture the artist used a collage effect I chose this image because it has different bright colours like pink ,yellow, green, blue and orange and this is nice because in collage its about using different colours and another thing why I chose this picture is in each image the artist used different colours for the background and this is nice because it helps make each picture look different from each other.

                                                                         4/12/2024

this was one of my examples for a book cover it was going to be a book about the making of alice of wonderland but did not really come as as an idea.

and i decided for my project that i was

another idea i might use for my book cover is by creating a book cover that might talk about the artist artwoks and how they were created and these are some of the exmaple that might be on the book cover.

for my project i decided that i was going to create a book cover

this is an example of a book cover template and i chose this becuase it helps me get a idea or be inspired on how my book cover is going to look like.

for my book cover one of my idea that is going to be the colours for the book cover is the colour i chose was lavender and i chose this colour because it is
a simpile and pretty colour.

this is my collage on photoshop it is example of book covers there are different book styles like nature book, story books, fact books and fantexy books i chose these images becuase they give an idea or example of what im going to use in my book cover.
in my book cover im olso going to add a barcode in my collage and this is impornt in books becuase it help the person buy the book while it also has information about the book.

block printing   9/12/2024

on Monday in my art class I was learning and making prints for my collage my collage is about a inspirational person and I will be making a print for the frame on the collage.

First to create my print I used Styrofoam; Styrofoam is a Foam block that helps make it easier to carve a pattern for my pattern I carved a flower into the Styrofoam

to carve my pattern into the Styrofoam I used sculpting tools like dental tools, wood tools, spreaders.

then after on a sheet I used printing in to add colour to my print to add printing ink on my Styrofoam i used a rollers and brayers to to spread the ink on my Styrofoam and this can help to help the ink show on a paper then finally I used the Styrofoam block with ink and pressed it on my paper to get my final collage print it wasn't really nice but it turned out ok and this was my experience making a print

using paper and using different squares I used drew different ideas for block patterns for my patterns I used a 2B pencil for my ideas I drew out a camera, based on my inspiration person Cindy Sherman who was a photographer and some more ideas I drew were flowers, vines, leaves, star and flowers

this is example of my second block print using Styrofoam it is a pattern of a flower this is the final pattern I chose I like this pattern more because it looks more 3D and has a better pattern design
and the tools I used was a dental tool and glue stick tool.
this is my second design on Styrofoam it is a differant pattern on a flower the tool i also used was a dentel tool, and wood tool while creating this flower there was some challenges where it wasent how i was expecting but it still nice so im happy with it.
using my second pattern using Stryfoam I then added some ink on it and adding ink on the Strofoam is important becuase it helps show the pattern on then paper after I  pressed and pasted my final design on paper.

for my project I have

evaluating/ reviewing final product- inspirational person

1. who did you pick as your inspirational person and why did you pick them?

For my final product a book cover the inspirational person I chose is an artist called marcia Baldwin
she was an artist that used oil paints and I chose this person because her artworks  are really nice and that in her artworks she used different colours.  I picked her because her artworks are inspirational because they used oil paints which is an art medium that uses practice and I like her artwork because it inspire me to learn new skills.

2. what was your final piece (description of it ) what influenced you to do this as your final product?

For my final piece for this project I created a  book cover that talked about marcia Baldwin and how she created her artworks in this project I added a blub that talked about the book and a text that talk about the author and what influenced me to do this as my final product is that I like reading books which inspired me to design a book cover and learn new things.

3. Did you make a plan and follow it ? was it useful?

for my final product to create it I  made a plan by talking a few items in a book and putting it in my work on blog and this was useful because it helped inspire me and get an idea of what a book cover
might look like. another thing to help me plan is on a paper I created  a sketch of what my book cover might look like  another thing that helped me plan was on photoshop I created a collage on books and this was useful because it helped me get an idea of what the front of my book cover my look like.

4. what did you research?  was your research useful?

for my final product a book cover the different research I did was I looked up things that might be used in a book cover like a title a subtitle the author name and the blurb which talk about the book and this was useful because it helped me research and create my book cover and another thing I research was images of artworks by the author and this was useful because images on a book cover helps make the book more nice so I researched some images and finally another thing I researched was how to create an blub which talks about the book and this was useful because it helped my create my own description.

5. were  there any problems? what did you do to overcome them?

While creating my final product  on photoshop I think there was a few problems where to change the image using different colours the colour would go into the original background or the text would disappear but to overcome these things I change the light and contrast on the picture and to make the text come back I looked at the photoshop history  and brought back the text.

6. what went well with the product? how well did you complete the product? what standard is it?
does it communicate your ideas well?

what went well with my final  product is that I used all my ideas that might be on a book cover to create a better version and what went also well is that I used description to make the book seem more interesting and I think it communicate with my ideas because it uses similar to my original ideas.

8. if you would repeat the progress again, what would you do differently and why?
if I could could repeat the progress again and change something differently I would change the style of the book and by adding more description and images.

in today class I finished my final artwork it is a collage of a famous person. in my last art class, I made

block prints using Styrofoam and to complete my artwork and to make my final collage first I took my inspirational photo and added it on paper, then I took my block prints and to make it nicer I added

colour and an outline to make them nicer than I used PVA glue and added my block prints on paper.  then after using a mint green paper, I created a design of the person’s name then I used a different colour for the title to make the name look more 3D then after adding the block prints on paper, using
